Definition - What does Epilepsy mean?

Epilepsy is a brain disorder marked by seizures. Some seizures are mild and some are severe. Neurologists divide seizures into two predominant groups. Primary generalized seizures affect both the left and right side of the brain. Partial seizures affect just the left or the right side of the brain. Epilepsy is sometimes referred to as seizure disorder or epilepsy syndrome
