SureHire explains Testosterone
Testosterone production is concentrated in the Leydig cells of the testes. It is the most potent male sex hormone that the body produces. Testosterone is involved in the management of male bone density, fat distribution, muscle density, hair growth, red blood cell production, and reproductive functions. Testosterone levels gradually lower as men age. However, abnormally low levels of testosterone, a condition called hypogonadism, may cause conditions such as fatigue, depression and reduced cognitive function. Hypogonadism has also been associated with metabolic and cardiovascular diseases.
