Definition - What does Vascular mean?
Vascular, with regard to human beings, is an anatomical term referring to anything related to the body's vessels and anything that effects those vessels. While often understood to refer to the circulatory system, vascular may also refer to the body lymph or other vessel and duct systems. A plant also has a vascular system that includes its roots and stems.

This most often refers to the blood-related vascular system and includes the arteries, veins, and capillaries. However, this term can be applied to lymph vessels that carry lymphatic fluid.
